Life in 80s was challenging but it was yet that simple. Just a jackknife was enough to deal with a lot of things. Do not underestimate what a jackknife can do: it cuts a rope, peels off fruits, and sharpens pencils; on top of that we could also inscribe names of our sweethearts on benches we sat. Business life was also that simple; we just needed a paper and a typewriter to write, an envelope and a stamp to communicate. Even our telephones that in no way had a dial tone were not aware that they would be classified as analogue a few years later. We were keen and active like jackknives. We used to dress up to the nines to come to work every day. We were calm and relaxed. But until we steered round the lever of Facit calculators, foreigners were far ahead in the computer age. I remember our first encounter with computers and portraits we drew with letters (I wish I had saved one, it would be a so nice memory to show to my grandchildren).. Just then time lapsed at a hair-raising speed and we’ve been through never ending years of change and we all tried to transform to catch up with the zeitgeist.
The world was running and we were trying to catch it.

It turned out that there were a lot to improve; we woke up to a new product and service every morning! Machines were advancing while we caught up with the time; we combined our vision with our knowledge. We improved and developed ourselves, we started to get engaged in multiple tasks at the same time, top it all we were two notches above. Because being like a jackknife was not enough anymore, the new business order required us to be like a Swiss army knife.
